power or not

When I woke up at 6:30 this morning I realized that the power was out. It had rained all day yesterday and then it froze. So Greg, Naomi and I had a lazy morning...since Greg was unable to do his homework since we had no power. After Naomi took her morning nap we went for lunch and then drove an hour and a half to Fulton, MO to watch my cousin Mark play basketball. Eureka College lost to Westminster College but it was a good game and Mark got to play lots. Naomi and I watched Greg and the Preachers play last night too. We get to watch lots of basketball. The Preachers won their second game last night by one point. Greg hit a three and it was a good game all around. Anyway, when we got back from Fulton the power was back on so we didn't have to pack up and trek to someone else's house.

Just wanted to say a quick congrats to Will and Mindy who got ENGAGED today! Way to go! Also congrats to Greg's cousin Jon who got engaged to Jamie over Christmas!

I talked with a friend of yours and Greg's today, Nathan Peregoy, for the Alumni Phonathon fundraiser that I'm working for. He seems like a pretty cool guy. I'm glad you guys had a good holiday. Stay warm with that weather, and have a blessed day in the Lord!

The pictures of the ice damage on the news looked pretty nasty. I hope things have warmed up and melted there!
