So girls had sectionals this week. Thursday night were the preliminary swims and they did pretty good. Most of them dropped lots of time others did not. All but three girls qualified to swim on saturday. I was in charge of "rub downs". Basically I gave every girl a massage before their swim with a mixture of baby oil and wintergreen. It makes their skin and muscles hot and is supposed to make them swim faster. It affects some girls more than others, some look like they just got sun-burned. Because I was doing that I didn't get to see much of the meet on Thursday, which stinks since it was the last time I will see some of them swim. Saturday was good. I was at the pool all day since the guys had practice in the morning and then sectional finals all afternoon. The girls swam good, no one made it to state but they got fourth place over all and beat the rival team by 7 points so it was a good day. Afterwards everyone went out to the "sirloin stockade" for dinner. Nothing says good job like a buffet.
It snowed on Friday night. Bummer. I was liking the warm temperatures!
